Stopping — Calming — Resting
How often during each day do we take time to do these three activities that are vital to our health?
So, right now might be just a time you can, or will, do this. Actually stop, don’t multi-task. Right now. Just stop whatever you are doing, and breathe. Only that. It is enough.
Yes, breathe. Are you aware of that breath that enters you? Can you feel it leaving you? What takes place in your body as the breath enters and leaves? This is a wonderful way to calm your soul, to relax your mind, and give your body some rest.
Would you consider taking time today, several times during the day or night to have this small ritual, a ritual that performed many times, just a few minutes here and there, will help your body give you the experience of wholeness. How about making this a daily ritual?
Stop, calm yourself through the breath, and have a moment of rest.
Notice how good it feels. Your body and your soul are rejoicing with you as you allow this healing activity.
Or you can just wait til your body gets sick and makes you stop. It’s up to you. God loves you no matter which way you live.
You are precious in His sight! Isaiah 43.
Enjoy your experience. It’s your life!
