However I believe that supply flows to us as we surrender to Spirit, rather than coming to us as we make demands.
Jesus told us that in the world we will find tribulation (meaning lots of trouble), but that through he (the Christ Spirit) the world will be overcome.
The Spirit of the universe (I use this as another name for Christ — the innate nature of God) trumps our worldly view of supply and demand.
So, are we willing to surrender to Spirit, follow its guidance, and allow supply to satisfy our longings?
Supply follows surrender to Spirit.
As we let go and trust God to do what needs to be done, we receive everything our soul needs.
“I, of myself can do nothing…..I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which has sent me.”
Jesus also says “ …the Father that dwells in me does the work.”
So, how does the ego fit into this? (The ego is our sense of “I”)
How do we see ourselves? Who/what do we think we are?
Are we willing to let go of this self-image and remember that it is the Father within that does the work? Our true value is in our spiritual essence.
Are we willing to recognize that each being is the very Christ nature, the Buddha nature, the very Isness of God?
If so, we have no trouble surrendering to that which is really our Higher Self. Then our supply comes to us. It just flows into our open hearts.
Or do we think we have to figure things out? And not ask God to show us what we need to think and do?
I do what I can do, and give the rest to God.
I feel so much better when I surrender all that has troubled me into God’s love.
As I give up my worries, and spend my time quieting that ego-centered self, I discover that happiness and prosperity fill me.
I begin to be aware of my resources and new ideas flow into me when I give up my demands and focus on the flow of energy that is always in movement within me.
The Christ Spirit is at work in everyone and through everyone, whether they are aware of it or not. It is the very flow of God that can be counted on in all circumstances.
The Christ Spirit is the spirit of love that connects us all, forever, in this one loving energy that we call God.
I can trust Spirit to work everything out in its own way, which is always highest and best.
Supply comes forth as I surrender
